1. General Provisions

By using the services of PT. Jaga Lautan Bersama, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions listed below. Please read carefully before using our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to PT. Jaga Lautan Bersama
  • "Client" refers to the party using our services
  • "Cargo" refers to the goods being shipped
  • "Services" refers to all logistics services we provide

3. Scope of Services

Our services include:

  • Inland Transport
  • Marine shipping with Tug & Barge
  • LCT (Landing Craft Tank) Services
  • Project Cargo Handling
  • Multi-Modal Transportation
  • Integrated Logistics Solutions

4. Client Obligations

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about cargo type, weight, and dimensions
  • Providing required documents (manifest, permits, etc.)
  • Ensuring cargo is packed safely and according to standards
  • Notifying if cargo includes dangerous goods (DG Cargo)
  • Paying service fees as agreed

5. Company Obligations

The company is committed to:

  • Handling cargo with care and professionalism
  • Following the agreed shipping schedule
  • Providing periodic shipping status updates
  • Complying with applicable safety and environmental regulations

6. Payment

  • Payment is made according to the issued invoice
  • Late payments may be subject to penalties as per regulations
  • Cancellation of confirmed services may be subject to cancellation fees

7. Insurance and Liability

We provide cargo insurance options for maximum protection. Without insurance, the company's liability is limited in accordance with applicable shipping regulations. Clients are advised to insure high-value cargo.

8. Force Majeure

The company is not responsible for any delays or shipping failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, storms)
  • War, riots, or military actions
  • Government policies or port closures
  • Pandemics or disease outbreaks

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising will be resolved through deliberation for consensus. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be resolved through the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI) in Jakarta.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are subject to the laws applicable in the Republic of Indonesia.
